Association of Chiropractic Colleges Global Education Conference announced for 2022; call for presenters

The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) has announced that the 11th WFC Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC) World Education Conference will be held November 2-5, 2022 at Logan University. The campus outside of St. Louis will attract educators, researchers, scholars, and association leaders from around the world, showcasing the best in chiropractic learning, innovation, and research.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is June 1, 2022.

Authors from all nations are invited to submit abstracts describing their research and educational innovations in chiropractic. Submitted material must be relevant to teaching, learning, assessment, faculty development, governance, or any other area of ​​education.

Presentations of the platform: Platform summaries of 250 words or less must include: objective, methods, results and conclusion. Experimental studies involving human subjects (e.g., controlled trials, pilot studies, cohort studies, and surveys) must have ethics board/IRB approval or waiver as determined by the institution of the author.

Poster presentations: Poster abstracts of 250 words or less must include: objective, methods, results and conclusion. Experimental studies involving human subjects (e.g., controlled trials, pilot studies, cohort studies, and surveys) must have ethics committee/ethics committee approval or waiver as determined by the institution of the author.

Workshop presentations: The workshop facilitators will provide an interactive workshop to develop participants’ skills. Workshops should include active learning – not just lectures, not a series of presentations, or a substitute for science platform sessions. The workshop proposal of 250 words or less should include a brief description, a list of competency-based learning objectives, and an outline of the presentation which can be completed in 45 minutes. If the proposal is selected for review, a more detailed outline will be requested.

Presentations of novelties: Innovation presentations showcase real pedagogical innovation taking place. A description of the specific innovation should be able to be shared in 6 minutes or less and will be part of a panel discussion. Innovation Sessions are not conferences or a substitute for platform presentations. Innovation summaries of 250 words or less must include: the rationale or need for the innovation, a brief description of the innovation, and the potential impact on chiropractic education.
