On March 22, eight teachers from the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est de l’Ontario (CSDCEO) assigned to Hockey Canada Skills Academy programs participated in training at the Saint-Isidore Recreation Centre. The 2nd part of the training will take place on April 6th.
Hockey Canada Skills Academy programs are currently offered at three CSDCEO schools: La Citadelle Catholic High School (Cornwall), L’Escale Catholic High School (Rockland) and Le Relais Catholic High School ( Alexandria). A total of 146 students are enrolled.
The objective of the program is to improve the student-athlete’s confidence, individual skills and self-esteem, in addition to providing them with opportunities for academic and athletic development. Students have personalized schedules that allow them to train during class hours, while ensuring their academic success.

The CSDCEO is the largest network of French-language schools in the five counties of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott and Russell.
