Registration is now open for the 2022 WADA Global Education Conference to be held September 20-21

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its 2022 World Conference on Education (GEC). This edition will be organized in partnership with Sports Integrity Australia September 20-21, 2022 at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Sydney, Australia.

Similar to the GECs hosted by WADA in 2015 (in Ottawa, Canada) and 2018 (in Beijing, China), the 2022 GEC will bring together anti-doping practitioners and researchers from around the world to share and discuss emerging trends; contribute to the development of education programs; and, examine how Anti-Doping Organizations can improve their education programs while keeping athletes and their support personnel at the center of their learning strategies.

While many participants from around the world are expected to attend the 2022 edition, WADA hopes to continue to raise the bar to ensure that athletes and their support personnel have access to quality anti-doping education, which helps prevent intentional or unintentional use of prohibited products. materials and methods.

In addition, Sport Integrity Australia will hold an ‘open day’ on September 19 and a Innovation Day on September 22 which will offer workshops to stimulate new ideas and approaches in education. WADA will also be hosting two sessions on September 22 – a “breakfast clinic” focused on respecting International standard for educationand regional breakout sessions to facilitate greater interaction between regional Anti-Doping Organizations.
