Reminder: September 5 deadline to register for WADA’s 2022 Global Education Conference

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) would like to remind stakeholders that the deadline to register for its World Conference on Education 2022 (GEC) is September 5, 2022. This year’s edition will be organized in partnership with Sports Integrity Australia September 20-21, 2022 at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Sydney, Australia.


Please register via Conference website by September 5, 2022. The website contains all relevant information regarding the event, including agenda and how to book your hotel room. Please book your hotel room before August 15, 2022.

We encourage you to complete your registration promptly so that you have sufficient time for your Visa applicationif necessary.

About the 2022 World Conference on Education (GEC)

The 2022 GEC – which will open with a session featuring remarks from WADA President Witold Bańka and our hosts, and conclude with remarks from WADA Director General Olivier Niggli – will bring together anti-doping practitioners and researchers from around the world to share and discuss emerging trends; contribute to the development of education programs; and, examine how Anti-Doping Organizations can improve their education programs while keeping athletes and their support personnel at the center of their learning strategies.

While many participants from around the world are expected to attend the 2022 edition, WADA hopes to continue to raise the bar to ensure that athletes and their support personnel have access to quality anti-doping education, which helps prevent intentional or unintentional use of prohibited products. materials and methods.

In addition, Sport Integrity Australia will hold an ‘open day’ on September 19 and a Innovation Day on September 22 which will offer workshops to stimulate new ideas and approaches in education.
