Vietnam moves up five places in world education ranking | Company

Hanoi (VNA) – Global website American News released its 2021 world education rankingwith Vietnam ranked 59th, up five notches from 2020.

In 2020, Vietnam ranked 64th out of 73 countries in the ranking.

The top 10 countries in the 2021 World Rankings are the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Sweden and the Netherlands.

The US News ranking results are based on a global survey of criteria such as having a well-developed public education system and the ability to provide top-quality education.

Last month, seven Vietnamese universities were also listed in the Impact Rankings 2022 published by the Times Higher Education(THE).

In 2020, only two Vietnamese educational institutions made the list and the figure doubled last year.

Among them, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi), Ton Duc Thang University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) are in the group of 601 to 800 while Phenikaa University is part of 801 to 1000.

The three new institutions on this year’s list are Duy Tan University and National University of Economics (601-800) and FPT University (801-1000).
