The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to invite members of the media to a press briefing on September 20 during the World Conference on Education in Sydney, Australia.

Along with WADA President Witold Bańka, Vice-President Yang Yang and Chief Executive Olivier Niggli, the press briefing will feature the Australian Government’s Minister for Sport, the Honorable Anika Wells MP and the CEO of Sports Integrity Australia, David Sharp. Together they will brief the media and answer questions related to the conference and other anti-doping activities.

  • Location: Room C3.1, International Convention Centre, 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

For those unable to attend in person, the media session will be streamed live via a secure platform.

Active members of the media wishing to attend the press briefing, either in person or virtually, are asked to register their request by sending the following information to media@wada-ama.orgnot later than September 5, 2022:

  • Full name
  • Media/organization
  • Preference for in-person or virtual presence
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
